The new injectors should come with new o-rings and grommets for their tops; if not, the part numbers are MD614813 (o-ring, fuel injector) and MD614805 (sheet, fuel injector). You can try re-using the grommet-like insulators on the bottom of the fuel injector, but for $2 each I replaced them, part number MD087060 (insulator, fuel injector).

The two o-rings on the fuel injectors aren't exposed to light and ozone would have a tough time getting near the one at the outlet of the injector. They are exposed to gasoline which has a much more pernicious relationship with elastomers not designed for contact.

Instructions on getting to the fuel pump are in Supra SONIC's turbo install guide: Take the intake apart. At minimum, you'll need to pull the intake hose (couple of hose clamps), throttlebody (2 bolts 12mm bolts and 4 12mm nuts on the bottom) and the Y shaped section of the intake (4 12mm bolts on the top and 2 12mm nuts on the bottom.)

Well if you pulled the fuel rail, you might look at replacing the o-ring's on all those injectors, mainly those ones in the cups that seat in the head, they like to leak once you disturb them, and try putting it back togethere, mine did anyway.Keep in mind these 3rz engines have a history of head failures, either a burnt valve, or cracked heads.

Any fuel around your injector areas is likely caused by a leaking fuel injector o ring. Loosen the bolts holding the fuel rail, gently pull it off and inspect the o rings individually. If the o ring has any impact on it, you have to get new o rings and replace the damaged ones.

Remove the old injectors by gently prying up on the injector, and take note of the order that the seals are installed. The upper seal consists of a thin metal ring and rubber o-ring seal. Then install the new injectors, the metal ring and the rubber o-ring in that order.
