I used a cup wheel, running @ 4,200 rpm, hand dressed. A diamond dressed wheel would cut way too hot for this job, as you can't feed fast enough, and I don't have flood coolant on my BP, although I'd not have used it if I did. Flood coolant with a grinder on a mill or lathe is a sure recipe for doing irreversible damage to the machine. Harold
