2. Run 2 buckets thru the drywasher and dump the riffle tray and repeat til all the buckets are empty. 3. Sit down, drink some water and I pan out my cons while I rest. I enjoy panning and watching the gold pop up out of the material. I use a 5 gallon bucket with water and a 10 or 11 inch pan.

Phillip is right about the bellows type and blower type drywashers being totally different animals. I doubt you could modify one to function as the other. The bellows type is built to move material fairly slowly and rhythmically down the riffle box. The blower types make a hell of a dust cloud and moves material a lot faster.

The reason being the dry washer has no water and so no areas of lower water current for the gold to drop out behind the riffles. Your picture Gcause shows the right idea and the flow or top of the sluice would be to the left. In a dry washer yo want to catch the heavies in front of the riffles, not behind. I'm not sure gold or other materials sticking to your drywasher is a good idea. The point is to allow sorting by specific gravity and to do that you need the material full of air - not stuck to your drywasher. Static electricity does have one advantage on a drywasher though, your moving parts will wear out much quicker.
