On one hand, it is one of the fastest fwd cars ever to lap the Nurburgring and very simple to add an extra 100 horsepower to the stout 260 hp stock engine. On the other hand, any Cobalt isn't going to impress your significant other or most anyone for that matter and has one of the cheapest interiors this side of a first gen Dodge Neon.

Another thing to consider when modifying your Chevrolet Cobalt are sway bars. By default, almost all factory cars are tuned with an understeer bias. This makes them easier to drive at their limit, and much safer. For example, a stock Mitsubishi EVO 8 (AWD Turbo) comes factory with a 24mm front sway bar, and a 22mm rear.
