I did some online research and settled on this spreader (Agri-Fab 85-lb. push broadcast). It arrived in a non-working condition. The entire unit needs to be assembled from the box, which requires some work. But the only part that is not user-assembled is the gearbox, and that was the part that did did not work out of the box.
